The State Unitary Heat Enterprise TEKOS' control room in Murmansk. NEFCO has offered a bridge loan to TEKOS in order to upgrade the central heating system in Murmansk.

 

One of many sunken ships in the Kola Bay - one of 42 environmental hot spots in the Russian Barents Region. NEFCO has financed a project plan on how to lift a sealer boat named "Teriberka", which sunk in the Kola Bay in 1993.

Franz Josef Land

A Russian expedition assessed ecologically sensitive areas in Frans Josef Land in the Russian High Arctic in September 2007. NEFCO awarded a 200,000 euro grant for the survey, which will facilitate the work to clean up the vulnerable archipelago. Photographs: The Russian Polar Foundation.
