NEFCO and the Danish company Rus Agro Team A/S have signed a loan agreement aimed at introducing a range of investments that will result in environmental benefits at the company’s farm in the Kaliningrad Region in Russia.
NEFCO has signed loan agreements with ten Ukrainian municipalities in order to promote investments in energy-efficiency measures in the cities of Chernihiv, Fastiv, Irpin, Khmelnytsky, Kremenchuk, Kuznetsovsk, Lubny, Lutsk, Odessa and Rivne.
Nopef has approved financing for 24 new projects, which means that the number of approved feasibility studies exceeds the number of financed studies compared with the last few years. The funded companies are expected to raise total investments of EUR 86.5 million once they establish a local presence in the project countries.
A new agreement on NEFCO’s mandate was signed in Helsinki today by representatives from all five Nordic countries. The signing event was hosted by Kimmo Tiilikainen, Finnish Minister of Agriculture and the Environment.
NEFCO has signed agreements with the consultancy companies NIRAS and Allplan aimed at promoting energy-efficiency measures in Georgia. The upcoming projects will be financed through a Danish trust fund that is administered by NEFCO.
NEFCO and the Armenian Government have today signed a framework agreement that acknowledges NEFCO’s status as an international financial institution in Armenia. This will pave the way for new projects with environmental benefits in the country.
